Strange Surprise

This afternoon I was about to take the kids to the library, so we went out to the garage, I opened the car door, and there was a cat sitting in the car, looking up at me. Luckily, it didn't leave any messes in there for me, except for the cat hair everywhere. I happen to be allergic to cats (and so is Brian), so I was sneezing all the way to the library.

I tried to think of how in the world it got in there (into the garage, not the car; it obviously just jumped through one of the open windows) and thought it had to have been that morning during the 30 seconds it took for me to bring the garbage can back in. It was highly unlikely, but possible.

Brian got to hear the story when he got home from work, and he sheepishly suggested that the cat probably came into the garage last night... since he accidentally left the garage door open all night long. Yeah, that was probably when it happened.

So, here's a little word of advice: If you happen to leave your garage door open unattended for an extended period of time, don't forget to check for critters!

Yikes! I guess that is better then what I found in my backyard the other night when I went to check on the sprinkler. A SKUNK! It really scared me because I all of a sudden noticed something in the corner of the yard and had no clue what it was, then it clicked and I dashed back inside. Now that could've been a nasty surprise in your car!

Interesting... I was up quite late last nite, and didn't notice your garage door open. I mean, we are usually up later that you guys....

Well, sorry about the cat thing, if it should ever happen again, I'd be more than happy to come give your seat a quick vaccuum and lint roll so you don't spend the rest of the sneezing!

We've been wondering why we have huge tomato plants and yet no tomatoes...until I spotted the cutest baby bunny hop through our long grass...a baby bunny probably means there's a mama and papa somewhere too! But a cat in your car definitely beats a bunny hopping around my backyard!

Oh. My. Word. Have you heard about Vanessa's car story?! Ewww. Sorry but it beats your cat one. They bought a used car off some guy and a few weeks(?)months(?) later Nessa noticed her opened poptart was missing the corner. (she ate it anyway) A little later there was a ripped up package of crackers that she KNEW she hadn't opened. She convinced David that something was living in the car, he got a mousetrap, and sure enough a HUGE nasty rat got caught in it! Commence screaming. Sorry about the cat though. I hate cat hair!! Oh, btw, completely off subject, I found out that Mindy's mom -Mimi- died on Monday. :(

That's pretty funny...I'd be pretty puzzled if a cat ended up in our car too.
