Welcome to the World, Ethan!

Ethan Jeremy Vance was born on Tuesday, January 18th, 2011 (his due date) at 6:05 AM. He weighed 7lb 9oz and measured 18.5 inches long. It was a short, smooth, unmedicated labor. We were glad that Grandma Vance was able to fly here to help us. We love our new baby boy!

Merry Christmas!

My all-time favorite toy this year: an original 1971 Fisher Price record player (not the stupid digital 2010 remake)! I bought it on eBay. :) I may have been a little more excited to play with it than the kids were.

Literacy Night

We all went to Kara's school for Family Literacy Night. They did some crafts and listened to a story. Kara got to put an ornament on the Christmas tree. It was a good evening.
