USAA 5K

We participated in the annual 5K Run/Walk for the 5th year in a row! We brought both strollers this time so that we could push all three kids at once (as needed). The weather was perfect.


About a kilometer into the walk, we heard some shouting a little way behind us then saw a deer prancing away. People started yelling for a medic; someone had been hit by the deer! A few minutes later, the ambulance came. Yikes!


The kids played in the bounce house after the event.

First Day of School

Kara goes to Kindergarten at Krueger. She's been so excited this summer for school to finally start! I was kinda sad, and I was fully expecting to cry (with the pregnancy hormones and all) while dropping her off yesterday, but I didn't shed a single tear. Joshua has been quite bored without his playmate, and Nada will occasionally call Kara's name; we all miss her. She's loving it, though! Why did my little baby grow up so fast?
