Sisters' Campout

We had a fun Mother/Daughter camping trip this year. Kara loved swimming in the river and eating roasted marshmallows. The bugs were terrible when the sun went down, but we still had a great time being in the outdoors with friends.

Weekend Getaway

We took a trip up to Round Rock to catch up with some friends. Our kids had a blast playing together (especially Kara and Luke!), and it was great spending time with them. We went to the beautiful Zilker Botanical Gardens in Austin, and later Annamaria (who is a fabulous photographer) took some shots of our family in a field of bluebonnets (see next post). It was a fun little getaway!

Easter Visit with the Bryants

Brian's friend and co-worker invited us out to his family's place for yummy food and fun activities the day before Easter. I think the kids may have had just a little bit of fun. As we were leaving Kara asked, "Can we come back tomorrow?"
