Weekend Getaway

We took a trip up to Round Rock to catch up with some friends. Our kids had a blast playing together (especially Kara and Luke!), and it was great spending time with them. We went to the beautiful Zilker Botanical Gardens in Austin, and later Annamaria (who is a fabulous photographer) took some shots of our family in a field of bluebonnets (see next post). It was a fun little getaway!

Easter Visit with the Bryants

Brian's friend and co-worker invited us out to his family's place for yummy food and fun activities the day before Easter. I think the kids may have had just a little bit of fun. As we were leaving Kara asked, "Can we come back tomorrow?"

Caterpillars

The kids got a live butterfly garden for Christmas, so in March we ordered the caterpillars. I guess I forgot to take pictures of the butterflies after they emerged (oops), but here are the caterpillars (it was crazy how fast they grew!).
